Greetings Campers,

Tonight I thought I would introduce you to some camper speak. During camp council a certain level of decorum is required to honor the dignity of the event. All speakers given the floor get to air their views. With the exception of senior campers, all other campers are expected to withhold their rebuttals until said camper has relinquished the floor. The only exception to this rule is the Hurrrummmph. Hurrrummmphs can be shouted loudly or grumbled under ones breath at the campers discretion. An Hurrrummmph can be one long Hurrrummmph, or multiple Hurrummmphs. An Example of this usage would be…. Hurrrummmph, Hurrrummph, Hurrrummmph!!!!. The hurrrummmph usually denotes a campers agreement with the camper ruminating on the floor. A Hurrrummmph is sometimes used to mask the sound of a bodily function. (This also at the campers discretion)

There you have it campers. The Hurrummmph and it’s proper usage.
